About Me
I am a Toronto based Pilates Instructor. I came across Pilates in 2015 when a good friend was taking her teacher training course and needed someone to practice teach with. At the time, I was looking for a job in the movement industry as I've always been an active person and, sitting at a desk was just not for me. When I learned about this wonderful movement method, I realized this was the path I wanted to go down. In 2017, I took the teacher training course and got my certification for Mat & Reformer Pilates and I have never looked back!
It is so satisfying to be able to help people move, stay healthy and, become pain-free. As a rock climber, I have experienced many injuries over the years and have learned much about how to rehab those injuries. I love sharing what I have learned with others to help them heal and get stronger!
My classes are about feeling good, being creative and, having fun! I love mixing movement styles to keep it interesting. Even more important, I try to teach clients about what is happening in their body, what those little muscles they didn't know they had are called and, how they can use this knowledge on their own time to stay pain-free.
Outside of the Pilates world, I am a classical piano teacher and have been since 2007. I love to dance, sing, play the piano and ukulele, hike, camp, rock climb, snowboard, any kind of activity outdoors! Yo hablo español también!
